Day 49
Lavrio to Eretria, Evia.
Leaving the little site in Lavrio we headed towards Greece’s biggest island Evia (forgot to go visit the temple of Poseidon!).
Crossing the bridge at Chalcis we turned right and headed down the coast about an hour to a campsite in Eretria. Camping Milos.
Nice little site, has a really nice pool (which we haven’t tried) and we got a spot right on the front.

There are quite a few long term caravans here but still quite a lot of space for travellers like us. The beach isn’t much but the view is lovely, especially as it looks across towards Athens mainland – where we had just come from.
What we weren’t expecting was a windy afternoon. We now think this is a windy coast.
Gareth spent what was left of the afternoon washing our very dirty van! And I did some laundry
. Despite the wind we did get some sleep
.
