Fri 25th April.
So here we are, it’s Friday. We have had another long day today. We’ve passed back into Germany and were heading for Rosenheim, just beyond Munich. Its started to rain again.
The countryside has been a stark contrast of lush green and industrial grey mounds surrounded by rusty metal towers.
A nice thing to see was the Bayern Munich Allianz arena, posing as a grounded blimp.
We didn’t get as far as Rosenheim, we’ve stopped just short in a spa town called Bad Aibling. As luck was with us we secured the 2nd to last spot in the Aire by the Thermal Baths.
During a lull in the rain we took Meg for a stroll around the town. There are some lovely painted houses here but not much else to write about other than the Spa, which seems to be very popular. The car parks, including a multistorey are full.
Still, perfect for a stopover before we head into Italy via Austria tomorrow.
